Update BIOS HP XW6600 Workstation with USB Flashdrive

here I will discuss how to update HP xw6600 workstation bios by using usb as media loader

first look at your bios version whether it is with the latest version or not (old version 01.26) and (new version 01.46) if your bios version is v 01.46 you do not need to update version

to see your bios version turn on your PC then press F10 on the keyboard and look at the bottom left of your screen after you see your bios version. next i will tell how to make usb media loader for bios, as for what you need is

1. USB flashdrive

2. Rufus 2.18

3. Flashfile BIOS Packages Download

Ok after all tools are available. now create a usb media loader using Rufus, 

open the Rufus file you have downloaded and run the Rufus 2.18.exe, it will show up on

then select MBR Partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI on partition scheme and target system type looks like on Capture 0.2

and then click start, wait until progress is complete and finish

after create the startup flashdrive is complete, then open the package file Flashfile BIOS that you have downloaded (sp59217.exe) click on this file on Run Administration will appear as follows (just click Next on Capture 1.1 and click I accept the in the license agreement and then click Next on Capture 1.2)

select which drive and folder you will place for Package Flashfile BIOS looks on Capture 1.3 or you can type the drive and folder you want and click Next

when finished, open your Package FlashFile BIOS folder and double click on folder DOS_Flash

Copy all file on folder DOS_Flash to USB Startup, after that Shutdown your PC 

Plug in USB flashdrive in to the rear port on your PC and turn ON your PC "(don't trun ON your PC before your Plug in USB flashdrive in to rear port)" 

Waiting BIOS Show up or you can press F9 to boot USB flashdrive after that you can see the command prompt

C:\> 

then type in command prompt  

C:\>FLASHBIN  

then Press ENTER, you will be instructed to select Y / N if you want to continue (select Y) and if not (select N), after your select Y they will be running to flashing BIOS, waiting until flashing complete... then reboot your PC.

Cara install moshell pada Windows 10

Halo Guys 

kali ini saya akan memberikan tutorial untuk menginstal Moshell pada Cygwin. sebelum nya saya akan coba mejelaskan terlebih dahulu tentang Cygwin, Apa sih Cygwin, Singkat nya adalah API atau Program Interface Unix yang dapat dijalankan pada platform Windows, bukan hanya Windows saja Cygwin dapat dijalankan, untuk operating system yang berbasis OpenSource Cygwin dapat diterapkan. ok saya tidak akan membahas tentang opensource, karen yang saya akan bahas tutorial Menginstall Moshell pada cygwin.

sebelumnya download terlebih dahulu file .exe cygwin disini https://cygwin.com/install.html

pilih package sesuai dengan Laptop anda 32-bit atau 64-bit

kemudian siapkan package Moshell.zip

dan file cygwin_install.txt

oke saat nya kita memulai penginstal, pertama

- Jalankan file.exe cygwin yg telah didownload, kemudian click Next

 

 - Kemudian pilih install from internet, click Next

 

- Kemudian pilih directory yang anda kehendaki, kemudian pilih install for all, kemudian click Next

 

- lalu pilih directoty package yang akan didownload oleh cygwin sesui dengan kehendak anda, 

click Next

 

- setelah memilih directory package cygwin, kemudian pilih direct connection, click Next

 

- kemudian pilih alamat URL http://cygwin.mirror.constant.com, click Next

 

pastikan koneksi internet anda dalam keadaan baik, setelah process download package telah selesai

pilih package yang akan diinstall dengan cygwin

- Archive -> select unzip dan zip

- Editor -> select vim

- Interpreters -> select perl

- Net -> select inetutil, openssh, & openssl

- shell -> select rxvt

 

kemudian click Next. tunggu sampai process install selesai, kemudian click finish

Step install Cygwin telah selesai, sekarang bukan directory Cygwin yang telah terinstall pada file explore anda, disini saya membuat directory cygwin pada drive C:/cygwin, setelah membuka directory Cygwin pilih cygwin.bat click 2x akan ada command prompt, setelah keluar command prompt, close command prompt (langkah ini akan membuat directory /home/user, secara otomatis)

setelah process pembuatan directory /home/user selesai, copy file cygwin_install.txt pada directory C:/cygwin 

 

- Kemudian run  c:/cygwin/bin/perl C:/cygwin/cygwin_install.txt, lalu tekan Enter atau OK

 

 setelah process diatas selesai, copy file Moshell.xxx pada directory C:/cygwin/home/user

 

kemudian jalankan aplikasi Cygwin Terminal, setelah itu process diatas dijalankan dengan benar maka aplikasi Cygwin Terminal akan menjadi ~bash dengan lambang [~]$

 

stelah membuka cygwin terminal, ketik "dir" tanpa tanda kutip lalu enter nanti anda akan menemukan directory file Moshell.xxx. Setelah itu anda ketik

[~]$ unzip -o Moshell.xxx 

 

kemudian ketik kembali

[~]$ bash moshell_install

nanti anda pilih 0 lalu tekan Enter, nanti akan ada perintah untuk memilih directory java dan perl, kemudian anda Enter, biarkan process install moshell berjalan sampai selesai...................

Jika semua Process berjalan lancar tanpa ada sesuatu yang gagal coba anda ketik kembali

[~] $ moshell , lalu tekan enter

 kemudian biarkan process berjalan dan lambang [~] $ akan berubah menjadi OFFLINE>

 

welldone anda telah berhasil menginstall Moshell pada Cygwin
