Update BIOS HP XW6600 Workstation with USB Flashdrive

here I will discuss how to update HP xw6600 workstation bios by using usb as media loader

first look at your bios version whether it is with the latest version or not (old version 01.26) and (new version 01.46) if your bios version is v 01.46 you do not need to update version

to see your bios version turn on your PC then press F10 on the keyboard and look at the bottom left of your screen after you see your bios version. next i will tell how to make usb media loader for bios, as for what you need is

1. USB flashdrive

2. Rufus 2.18

3. Flashfile BIOS Packages Download

Ok after all tools are available. now create a usb media loader using Rufus, 

open the Rufus file you have downloaded and run the Rufus 2.18.exe, it will show up on

then select MBR Partition scheme for BIOS or UEFI on partition scheme and target system type looks like on Capture 0.2

and then click start, wait until progress is complete and finish

after create the startup flashdrive is complete, then open the package file Flashfile BIOS that you have downloaded (sp59217.exe) click on this file on Run Administration will appear as follows (just click Next on Capture 1.1 and click I accept the in the license agreement and then click Next on Capture 1.2)

select which drive and folder you will place for Package Flashfile BIOS looks on Capture 1.3 or you can type the drive and folder you want and click Next

when finished, open your Package FlashFile BIOS folder and double click on folder DOS_Flash

Copy all file on folder DOS_Flash to USB Startup, after that Shutdown your PC 

Plug in USB flashdrive in to the rear port on your PC and turn ON your PC "(don't trun ON your PC before your Plug in USB flashdrive in to rear port)" 

Waiting BIOS Show up or you can press F9 to boot USB flashdrive after that you can see the command prompt

C:\> 

then type in command prompt  

C:\>FLASHBIN  

then Press ENTER, you will be instructed to select Y / N if you want to continue (select Y) and if not (select N), after your select Y they will be running to flashing BIOS, waiting until flashing complete... then reboot your PC.
